Black ‘High Jinks’ seamfree stockings by Martyn Fisher. These stockings are made from stretch black nylon and although a denier isn’t stated I say they were around 30 denier or ‘service weight’. 

They have quite a narrow welt making them appear more ‘modern’, but the lack of elastane makes me date them to the 1970s as opposed to the 1980s. They do have a traditionally shaped heel and the welt is nice and stretchy for a comfortable fit.

The sizing is modern by which I mean they are designed to fit contemporary figures, not tiny legs of the 1950s. They are certainly nice and long! This size large is comparable with our M/L Glamour Seamed Stockings which fit 5ft 5 t to 5ft 11, up to a dress size UK 18, US 14.
